Excuse me the last email I confused export with import.
I recently convinced my brother to use lyx but now he can not open his
files que created using latex. I tried to export them also with my lyx
configuration and it is not working also. I have perl and python
installed so I think that

I am having at least two problems when I try to import latex into lyx
using relyx. I use lyx 1.1.5fix1 on solaris because I seem to be unable

either compile or run the compiled versions and I have to rely on a
