with the hyperref package you always get the s
advantage over

It seems I can never get this right. I draw some nice figures with xfig with
latex fonts and export the figure as two parts, one is figure.pstex, another
is figure.pstex_t. While it works perfectly with dvips, it never worked
with tex2pdf. The figure shown in the pdf has only the text part
