OK, but if you don't use a special keyboard layout in LyX (menu Edit ->
Settings), I have no other idea what's going wrong.

I don't use Mdk, but it seems to be a problems of your keyboard layout
(test if you also get "^e"
Hi everybody, i'm using latest Mdk (rc1) and just to be sure they've
made a mistake in packaging, i'd like to be sure the problem is not
coming from lyx (version 1.3.4).
I'm French and when trying to produce ê (e + circumflex accent) i only
get ^e which thereafter leads to an error ...
Is anyone
