Dear all,
I am tempted to remove references to Ubuntu PPAs from our
official download page as it slowly becomes obsolete.
Before I do that is anyone interested to provide PPAs
fro newwer lyx versions(?), esp. for upcoming 2.4?

I tried to install the latest Lyx from LyXOnUBUNTU and followed the advice
given there:
add-apt-repository ppa:lyx-devel/daily
apt-get update
apt get install lyx2.0
at the last step I get an error

Rob and I have set up an Ubuntu PPA [1] providing daily builds of 2.1
master (trunk) and 2.0.x (branch) GIT code. The packaging is still
considered experimental, so it would be great if those interested
could test the new set up and report any problems that might arise.
