Do you mean that you set up the Getdeb ppa repository, according to the
instructions here:

(the current Ubuntu 10.04 version) to 1.6.7, but although I had
installed getdeb, when I click on INSTALL THIS (Lyx) NOW, the browser
opens a new tab but nothing happens. I am running ubuntu 10.04 64 bit.
Am I doing anyth

Ah you're talking about the position of the toolbars. They are stored
by Qt. This will be put in
