Inspired by your post, I tried to use getdeb to upgrade Lyx from 1.6.5 (the current Ubuntu 10.04 version) to 1.6.7, but although I had installed getdeb, when I click on INSTALL THIS (Lyx) NOW, the browser opens a new tab but nothing happens. I am running ubuntu 10.04 64 bit. Am I doing anyth
