Figure Labeling Inconsistent Between Caption and Reference

This is a new one for me. Running LyX-2.0.1 on Slackware-13.1 with TeXLive-2011 behind it. In section 5.1.1 of an article I'm writing I inserted a figure float. When I inserted the float the figure is numbered as 5.1, but the cross reference in the text body to that figure's label is 5.1.1. S
