Try the setspace package or try something like
\renewcommand{\baselinestretch}{2.0}. If you do the latter, you
apparently have to issue some font-size changing command to make it take
effect. So you may have to do e.g. \Large\Normal. See /Latex Companion/,
3.1.13.
