the first bibentry with lyx, the second and more by clicking on
the bibmark and insert.

That is, how can I get the processed output of (e.g. [Dawes92] [Dawes93])* to
look (e.g. [2,3]) rather than (e.g. [2] [3]) as it is now?
*[Dawes92] is a LyX citation reference, as is [Dawes 93].
