Mark,
this is a Beamer issue, not a LyX one
And why do you want to do that in the first place? Just continue on the
next slide by starting a new environment.
If it is a numbered list, there is a special enumitem Module for beamer
if I am not mistaken.

Thanks a lot for that but can you show me how the code allows transferring
lists across page breaks? I can’t do this in Beamer slides for some reason - I

here could you please show me how we can continue lust nu
KOMA Script is very powerful, here is the manual
http://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/koma-script/doc/scrguide-en.pdf
but even for casual users it works, in my view, better than the standard
article.

Thanks everybody.
I don't see much difference but I think I slightly prefer the Koma Script font,
so I plan to use
that.

That is a hidden feature of KOMA-Script,
In LyX,
Document -> Settings -> Document Class -> Document Class
select
KOMA-Script Article
then in same screen, ie
Document -> Settings -> Document Class -> Custom
put
15 pt
klick
Ok
and then generate (view) the PDF as ususal.

14pt is not a valid option for standard classes (10pt, 11pt, 12pt)
You need package extsizes or you define the new fontsize by
yourself.

Hi Doc,
I am doing a brief to a court that requires
minimum font size of 14.4 but can't seem to get
lyx 2.3.6 to print larger than 12 font. I use article
(standard class). Any suggestions?
