Do not forget that French rules for layout differ from English ones. For
example, the first paragraph of a section is indented

I notice that after a list (i.e. after \end{itemize}) LyX does not put
an empty line, so that the next standard paragraph is not indented. My
editor wants this paragraph to be indented. Until now, I use a script to
add a newline after \end{itemize}.
Is there a way to tell LyX to add a

Is there a way to prevent LyX from writing: [english,french] ?
I must say that my document has been declared as being totally in French.

When I am on the book title, the "short title" button is disabled.
The class I work with has been built from book and it puts the book
title in the top margin of even pages instead of the chapter name.
