Thanks. The issue is solved by installing texlive-scheme-full. I have been
using LyX on Fedora Linux for almost ten years, and this is the first time
I encountered an issue. My guess is that Fedora 41 changed the texlive meta
package.

LyX 2.4.2.1 does not work on Fedora Linux 41. For any .lyx files that used
to compile, there is an error message saying that File 'article.cls' not
found. I tried to reconfigure LyX, but that did not work.
