document.
At present, we can add a hyperlink to the LyX document. And this hyperlink
is clickable in the corresponding PDF file. But in fact, many users just

In Tools > Preferences, I added a new format with:
Format: foo
Short Name: foo
Extension: foo
Editor: gedit
Viewer: gedit
I also added a new converter to PDF (ps2pdf) with:
pdflatex -outputdirectory /tmp/ /home/yang/blah/blah.foo &&

After looking at the built-in math.bind I changed the above to:
\bind "M-m M-m ~C-~M-~S-bar" "math-delim Vert Vert"
This works. How come?

It seems that spellchecker in lyx does not work for me.
Open a lyx document. For the first time I click the "spellchecker...", a
window flashes up and quickly disappear. Click again, nothing happens.
No any error message.
I tried aspell, ispell, neither worked.
It's lyx 1.5.0-RC2 on gentoo l
It seems wiki.lyx.org is down right now. I am trying to download some
templates from there to compose my Curriculum Vitae. Can somebody send
me a CV template, if you happen to have some on your computer?

Usually, latex automatically label figures as Figure 1, Figure 2 etc,
according to their order appearing in the document. Now I am writing a
paper and want to put a few figures in supplemental material section.
How can I let latex label these fi
I know that I can have numbered section headers by choosing e.g.
"Section" or "Subsection" from the drop-down in the top-left. But
instead of having these render as:
1 My First Section
1.1 My first subsection
can I get custom headers such as the following?
Problem 1<-- horizontal space
Can I insert environments like {lgathered} or {gathered}[t] without
resorting to raw TeX? E.g., how would I go about adding the following
into my document?

I am trying to insert a figure into my document, but the figure alignment is always to the left which is shown in the attachment. How can I align the figure to the center? Thank you very much.
