Shortcut for "math-delim Vert Vert" not working

spellchecker does not work

It seems that spellchecker in lyx does not work for me. Open a lyx document. For the first time I click the "spellchecker...", a window flashes up and quickly disappear. Click again, nothing happens. No any error message. I tried aspell, ispell, neither worked. It's lyx 1.5.0-RC2 on gentoo l
