import LaTeX file into LyX ?

Hi, I have recently installed LyX 1.4.1 on Win 2000 and I tried importing a LaTeX "tex" file with the following commands: File--->Import---> ? since the LaTeX option mentioned in the tutorials is missing (I am only given the option of importing text files). Does anyone know how to fix this prob

Hi, I am very pleased that there is finally a version of LyX running under Windows. I have been using the GUI TeXnicCenter in Win2000 over MikTeX. My questions are: 1) can I install both LyX and TeXnicCenter on the same operating system (Win2000), or should I first unistall TeXnicCenter ? Do
