lyx and pdf

lyx and sz

Does anybody have an idea how to get the German "sz" latex-ed with lyx - I am always getting "SS"? I am using the latex packages from the Suse 6.2 distribution and Lyx 1.0.4pre6. (Babel is loaded - Umlaute work fine.) Tobias
