xfig pictures rotate and have strange colour

2001-02-19 Thread Thies Wels
Hi, If I insert a picture (in a float) in lyx 1.1.6fix which I produced or manipulated with xfig, the picture is always rotated at 90°. I exported the picture as eps in xfig before and can´t see where I pushed a rotate button... :) A bug? A mistake? Another thing about xfig: the program seems t

Hi there! I have a small problem with lyx1.1.6fix. Sometimes (not always...) latex complains about problems with texref reference "...may a loop..." if I use the feature texref instead of reference. The strange thing is, that it hapens sometimes but not always! I couldn´t figure out yet when or w

no number block available in tables

2001-02-15 Thread Thies Wels
Hi! I hope this question is not older than the program itself: I am working with lyx1.1.6fix1. If I want to use the number block on the keyboard in tables, the curser jumps out of the float and writes down the number there. Is there a way to solve this problem? (And if there is: is there a way t

no shortcut for floats

2001-02-10 Thread Thies Wels
Hi! I recently updated a lyx1.1.4 version to 1.1.6fix1 If I try to insert a float via a shortcut the former combination does not work. The menu tells me to use instead (the a is underlined), but this opens the math-formual editor (which actually should be c-m or something). This does not happ

find and replace

2001-02-09 Thread Thies Wels
Hi! Is there a way to use latex commands in the find-replace funktion of lyx? E.g.: guess you have 1times the word "dog" but finally you want "\emph{dog}"... ;-). Such a funktion would be handy!!! I could export the document to latex and use find replace with an editor. But after importing th
