Now I've found an old LyX file, that uses some customized environments and
stuff (I had a .inc file in the .lyx configuration directory in my old setup).

An update to my problem.
It seems that exporting to LaTeX (pdflatex) gives me a .tex file that includes
the reference to the a.tex file, that seems to be successfully created from the
a.sql file when exporting.
