But powerdot seems to be in my latex tree.
What to do !?

Just a word to thank the Lyx team. I defend my math PhD last week,
entirely written in lyx. I also prepared my conference with the Prosper
slide style, and got nice pdf slides.
Thanks again !

Hej list.
After a debian update of several packages (i don't even know which ones,
but not lyx), all the maths symbols in lyx are written as ERT ! Someone
had a similar pb last week, but i don't know what was the conclusion.
Some time ago i had exactely this pb, that i solved by installing the
lat
contained in my bibtex file (.bib format). For
example :
1/ When 2 authors, i get "firstauthor AND secondauthor" inside of
"firstauthor ET secondauthor"
2/ When it is a Phd thess, i get "PhD thesis" instead of "Thèse de
doctorat",
And so on.
Thanks for

Hej list.
I'm preparing a document in prosper slide class. I'm wondering if it is
possible to include animated gifs inside a pdf document. If yes, what
converter (gif->pdf) should i chose in Lyx ?

How can i change the color of some caracters or symbols in a formula
inside a math environment ? Thru the menu Format->type->color, it has no
effect in math mode (despite it functions well in non-math text).
Thanks.

Hej List !
Does anybody know how to use under lyx the nice transition effects
(Glitter, Dissolution, ...) between slides, in PROSPER style, which wre
available in latex. The latex command is, eg.
\begin{slide}[Dissolve]
How can i insert the "dissolve" option, if i selected "slide" from the

The option "vertical alignement" in format-> array is unavailable. An

Hej !
In a document with prosper style, changing the font size in the menu
Format->document->Format->font size
has not effect...
Is it possible to change the default size ?
Thanks
