did You try to put "preferences" "export" "ASCII" to "0" (zero) length?
but it probably wrecks empty lines between paragraphs.

Hi all,
I use alnumsec.sty. Is there a way to convince LyX to show up the (different
from usual) way of sectioning text? (for example: A I. 1. a) aa) instead of
1.1.1.1)
And if not: I would prefer to use ERT (\paragraph{} etc.) But I don't like the
ugly (because of beeing to large) ERT-Button, I

Hi Jürgen,
using KDE 3.1.1., suse 8.2, I installed lyx 1.3.3. by Yast from
http://apt.bygden.nu/SuSE/8.2-i386/RPMS.suser-tcousin/lyx-1.3.3-1.i586.rpm
It installed fine and is working well - but always chrashes at once by hitting
"preferences" in menue "edit".
the terminal gives me an:

Hi list,
I wonder if I could use Lyx inserting text interactivly. I got, for example, a
list of items to put each for each in the cells of a table.
Because of the delimeters "&" and "\\" I do'nt want to use an simple
inputfile. Is there something working in LyX like "\read" in pure TeX in one

Hi LyXers,
it's a bug: the layout-skript of LyX is wrong. There ist anywhere - I just
don't remember where - an "e" which doesn't to be there. Since I fixed it for
my own changing the former code I do not know where it was.
I guess it was in the second line: change "scrlettr" into "scrlttr2" and
