If you use the LyX version 1.5 (being released today) you can insert the Unicode
character directly into your document.
You may need to compile with xetex instead of latex for this to work.

Simple, I didn't know that Short Title worked on captions. Maybe it should be
called "Short Title or Caption" or "Short Title/Caption."

I tried to make a new environment in Lyx, much like the lyx comment
environment, but I want
it to show up in the output. Also, I made a gray box around it (pity it's
totally black and unreadable in dvi...)
