How do I get the "REFERENCES" header to go away in page style fancy? I
have a custom header defined, and I don't want the default.
Thanks,
Kirk
x27;m about to throw up my hands and say, "fine... it's a Word world,
quit fighting it". However, before I do, I'd like to hear other's
experiences in this area... as I can't believe that I am alone in this
struggle.

header gets run together...
I think what I'm looking to do is put a shortened title on the left, and first author
only on the right. How should I approach this?
Thanks,

I have a couple of issues in a manuscript that uses 5 wide floats for
tables and 3 wide floats for figures.
Issue #1, when I view as dvi, pdf or print, my tables get labeled
1,3,5,6,7 (instead of 1,2,3,4,5).
Issue #2, possibly related... about 2/3 of my citations (formatted as
hanging indents) p
Can anyone tell me what I've messed
up?
Thanks

There has got to be a critical difference between these files. Has
anyone else run up against this?

I am looking to get a template or two running in lyx 1.2.1. I have a
very general question of how these things work in lyx (i.e. do you just
copy the text file into some directory somewhere such in .lyx
directory). Second, I see that the textcomp.lyx file is for 1.1.6. Are
there any specific issues
So how do you a mean or average symbol?
