Generating pdfs from the CLI.

quality of images

I have a document with PNG images. When I generate the PDF it seems the images are compresed with JPEG, right ? Is it possible to improve the quality of those JPEGs, because the images contain text and it looks really bad ? Or better, can I use PNG ? Thanks. -- José Pablo Ezequiel Fernández
