xetex linux

Hi I am interrested in LYX with xetex for linux. How is this working? I haven't installed lyx or any tex/latex on my linux box yet. http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=XeTeX /ask2
