Is there a command in lyx that I can use to clear the tmp directory on
windows? If I make small changes sometimes Lyx wont recompile the document.
I have to exit lyx and reload all my files and build again to see the
changes. Does anyone else have these problems?
Thanks,
Jim Ragsdale
make sure that in Edit->Preferences->File Formats the viewer box has a path
to the viewer for each type (pdf,ps,dvi,ect.).

Does anyone know of a freeware program that runs on windows or linux that
will split pdf files. For example if I want a pdf file of pages 2-3 of a 10
page pdf?

That is what I do. I use "pics/some_random_eps.eps" and it works just fine.
Where pics is a subdirectory of the folder that holds the lyx file.

Is there a way to make them darker and look more crisp?

Latex warning. I just tried ERT today, and that seems
to work.
What about textmode? Is that just the environment when you hit Ctrl-M twice?
What is it used for?

Sorry if this has come up before, but I could not find it...
What converter do I need to get the option to view -> ps in Lyx on windows?
Thanks,
Jim
I have had that same problem. I am on the windows version and have an
included file. I have to shut down lyx and restart to get it to update.

Any program should be able to pipe info into the kdeprinter. I don't know

the pdf's in the tmp directory. But when I view the pdf in
Acrobat, I can't see the figures. This is on the native windows port.

Is there a way to get around the 4 deep limit on an enumeration? I am making
an outline and it would be nice to go to a depth of 5.

I tried the test file. I just pointed the bibtex dialog to the new spot for
the bib-test file and no problem. I think I have narrowed the problem down
to my class file. Bibtex works fine for the article class incuded w/ Lyx.
