Hi there,
LyX 1.1.4 seems can only be compiled under Solaris 2.6 and above.
Under 2.4 and 2.5. I get a message attached below.
Since majority of our system still quite old, is there a way to
solve this problem?
Thank you very much,
Jerry
g++ -g -O2 -fno-exceptions -fno-rtt
Hi there,
One of my colleague has problem to compile LyX 1.1.2. She is using

Hi there,
I am writing my thesis at the moment. Multipart doc doesn't work.
I used Insert->Include File->use include my lyx files in the master
file. I got a box there. But view dvi or view postscript doesn't
include anything in.
Is anything wrong? I am using lyx 1.0.4pre6 on a Solaris 2.4 box.
Use ps2epsi, it will fit your figure right,
Cheers,
Jerry

I believe the scalable fonts can give better result. Unfortunately
Xfree86 3.3.2/above scale bitmap fonts as well. You can turn
this function off by editing your /etc/XConfigure file, making
FONTPATH like "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi:unscaled". "unscaled" prohibat
the scaling of bitmap fonts.
Hi there,
Just found that it doen't work properly to copy a table with column
control like "@{}c". The control will appear in the column width
option in the copied table.
Again, the defined column width will not be copied to a new table.
Has anyone report it before?
Thanks,
Jerry
PS: LyX 1.0

I just tried this xforms 0.89 under both Solaris 2.4/2.5.
Same problem as I described before... crash or no paste

I found LyX crashes when I am working with LaTeX preamble long
time ago. However, I could not repeat it. Now, I can do it anytime
as the following sequence:
1) make sure no text is high-lighted by mouse;
2) start LyX;
3) open a lyx file;
4) open latex preamble;
5) click mouse middle button;
6) cr
Hi guys, I am using LyX 1.0.1 on a Solaris 2.4 box. In Math-ed,
\displaystyle just works only once . After save and load it, the latex
command will disappear. Is this a bug?
I know there is a thing like "math-size displaystyle", just don't
know how to make it work. Again, no visual control mark d
