Hi,
while trying to solve the different behavior of sums and integrals in
multiline equations I discovered another problem.
When you copy an integral with super/subscripted limits (mark the integral, C-C,
move to insert position, C-V) the copied integral turns out to have
postscripted limits. Obv

You have to insert

in the Latex preamble (in the menu Layout).

Hi,
one of my friends encountered the following problem:
After working with LyX on some document he saved it and quit LyX. Then
he noticed that the filesize of the lyx-file was 0 Bytes (excellent
compression :-)). Unfortunately LyX didn't warn him, that his document
couldn't be saved because ther

Hi there!
I just had some problems latexing one of my lyx-files. I found out that
the name of a macro must not contain any numbers, i.e. a macro named
gl2x is not possible. Unfortunately LyX doesn't complain if you use a
number in the name of a macro. I think this should be changed. LyX

No. I definitely mean what I said.

Which version of LyX do you use?

No problem on i686 with Red Hat 5.2, kernel 2.0.36, bash version 1.14.7(1).
The problem occurs on Sparc 10 with Solaris 7, bash version
2.02.1(1)-release.

Upgrade to 1.0.x. Unfortunately this doesn't solve your problems. But it's much
better than version 0.12.
(Installier' eine aktuelle Version von LyX. Das hilft dir zwar bei deinen
Problemen nicht weiter. Aber es ist dennoch empfehlenswert.)

Which documentclass do you use?
In article there is no chapter. But you could use report (?) or book. In
these documentclasses there exists the chapter header.

Salut,
I'm not able to use umlauts in math-mode. Even if I change in the
'text-in-formula'-mode this is not possible. In Latex however this is no
problem. My question is whether this is a "feature" which will be added
in a following release of LyX.
