Hello everybody,
I would like to mark fast certain parts in my LyX text (e.g., important
comments, questions) with colors.
The slowly way is to mark the text, open the font dialog box and apply
it (if the right has been chosen previously).
A littler faster is to use the "apply last" button and

Hello,
I have the problem, that I would like to have a numbered list, or a
description list (or similar environments) within a AMS theorem

in LyX.
Right now I use a work around with ERT, but it is kind of annoying and

Hello,
I tried to find the place in LyX where I can change the size of the formulas when the cursor is not there.
When I type them they have the right size, but later when leaving the maths area
they fall back to a smaller size. I was able to change the color (in the
look&feel section) but not

Hello,
My problem is that when I make a pdf using the IEEEtrans.sty in LYX 1.5 and
a pdf of the "same" document (exporting it from 1.5 => plain LaTeX =>
import to 1.6)
in LyX (1.6.0 as well in 1.6.3) it has different margins and letter sizes.
I assumed that the style should define the margins
Hello,
I use Lyx 1.5.2 on Fedora. I have noted that in the Navigation menu ->
list of tables Lyx lists also tables which are
in the "note" (commentary) environment and therefore are not seen in the
LaTeX output. For the counts in Lyx (e.g. Table 3) it counts these
tables too. The same is right

Hello,
I have following problem: I have words like 'IGI-2' and want LaTeX not
to hyphenate it. In German texts this is possible with 'IGI"~2' which
results in 'IGI-2'.
I also tried to define a hyphenation with \hyphenation{word}, but of
course this command uses '-' to define where to hyphenate
Hello,
I use LyX on a Linux machine in my office and on a Windows machine at
home. Sometimes I need to work on the same document on both machines.
The problem is, that the path for the figures to be included is always a
global one (/home/... or C:/).
It would be great if I just could use

Have you ever attempted to customize the menus of your LyX?
Old settings from a previous LyX might confuse the new version.
I had exactly this problem. Editing ~/.lyx/preferences and removing
the PDF customization lines solved it.
Thank you Richard and Helge,

Hello everybody,
I was wondering where the the export to pdf (latex) has gone in the
version 1.5.1.
I am aware of two ways to get the pdf right now:
- using the preview option and then save the file directly from the
pdf-viewer.
- or get it from the (changeable) temporay directory
but both se
