hold the
itemize&enumerate lists but when page ends the minipage continues on
can anyone suggest what is the right way to do this?

btw if anyone manages to give a solution/hint/whatever quickly i'd be much

i can confirm the bug
linux 2.2.10 slackware 4.0 lyx 1.0.3

rt the file to pure LaTeX
edit it and look for footnotemark,
the problem is that LyX exports note as footnotemark{} and footnotetext{}
instead of footnote{}
note that you may to correct some counters
