Hi all,
I just started to test this version. It looks good but I'm having problems
with Instant preview and accented letters in spanish.
Accented letters that needs the two keystrokes are not recognized but the "ñ"
is. Any clue?
With instant preview I tried even using the scripts from versio
;l^{2}&lm&-l^{2}&-lm\cr&lm&m^{2}&-lm&-m^{2}\cr&-l^{2}&-lm&l^{2}&lm\cr&-lm&-m^{2}&lm&m^{2}}\

wich gives me an approximation, but the results are not quite good.
Does any one knows a better way to do this?

to
"reduce" the intensity of the image in the background (dissolving an image
onto a white background of the same size)
Any more contributions are accepted

I am using Beamer with Lyx 1.3.5 on a Windows XP platform. I am preparing
a
presentation and can't find a way to put a background image on any frame and
change it as needed.
Can anyone give some light on this matter?
Thanks in advance

It works pretty good for me (cygwin, W2K, Lyx 1.3.1)
Check your latex install and be sure you have both color and ifthen

Hi,
I'm triyng to import a Lyx 1.2 document into my 1.3.1 version, using both
the lyx document itself or the TeX exported document.
I get a message saying there is a conversion script execution error, but
nothing else.
This document is a big rotated table only.
Can someone help.
Thanks
E. Gue
Under windows this happens when you close Lyx having any viewer open (dvi,
gsview, acrobat).
Close your viewer before closing Lyx to avoid that message.
Directories not erased has to be removed manually.

I tried the example in Lyx documentation. I'm using 1.2.0a under cygwin and
it works perfectly. Another way to do this is using a minipages wide enough
to coexist in the same line with your figure.

Try using setspace package and then use the commands
\singlespacing
\doublespacing
to modify your line spacing

Most of the times that Lyx freezes the computer for a while is because of
the autosave feature.

HI
I'm trying to use prosper with lyx 1.2.0a (cygwin versiion) and having problems
compiling the file.
I installed cluster and get 83 errors. On the other hand, the file cluster.tex
compiles pretty good.
Does any one has more experience with this package in cygwin enviroment to share?
Thanks
