Why? Why T1?

2004-05-02 Thread David Obadia
Why does LyX add a \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} by default in all its documents? My experience suggests that it's what makes PDFs generated by pdflatex ugly. How to set LyX so that it doesn't add that line in the LaTeX code? Thanks, -- David Obadia [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Resume Writing

2003-10-10 Thread David Obadia
What's the proper way to write a resume in LyX? The resume.sty package seems to be old and does not have a LyX layout. The CV.sty package is about 10 lines long... Any suggestion? -- David Obadia [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Consecutive definitions will appear as one.

2003-10-05 Thread David Obadia
Hi all, My problem is the following: I'm trying to get 2 consecutive definitions to be considered separate ones. But if I give them the same layout, LyX will merge them (using AMS at least). I was told to ask here for a workaround. Is there a bug fix planned for this? Regards, -- David O
