Ugly pdf fonts

pdf not showing up

Hollywood class adds extra vertical space after character names. In a correct screenplay format, dialog follows names on the very next line, without any added space. Anybody know how to fix this? I am a newbie to latex and lyx but an old hand at writing screenplays. Any help gratefully appreciat
