Hello,
Does anone know if it is possible to place figure captions alone on the page
preceeding the actual figure in LyX/LaTeX? How does one go about doing this
if it is.

how does one do this within LyX? Or is it not possible. I would like to have
short descriptive entries in the List of Figures and longer actual captions.
