Hi!
I am using Windows 7, and wanted to download and install Lyx 2.0.
The problem is that MikTex won't automatically install with the Lyx
installer, because of a 404 error.
I then downloaded and installed MikTex manually, but I do not know how to
tell Lyx how to use it.
Any suggestions on the m
nverter.
I have installed gnumeric on my computer.
Really hoping that someone is able to helt me with this!
Thank you very much in advance.

I really don't know what has happened, but now when I shrinked the image a
little it worked just like it used to do :)
When the image is to big the subsection title never follows the image, and
when I try to insert a clear page nothing happens :/ I will send you the
code tomorrow, thank you for helping me :)

I am adding som images (not in floats) to my appendix on a report I am
writing, and suddenly there is a blank page. Have been trying to find
out why, but I just can't.
The subsection just jumps over a whole page :S
Does anyone know what may have caused this?

Hi Christian,
Yes, you're right. I hadn't noticed that at all.
Thanks very much!

Protect the r
Windows or Linux? I am working in Windows, and if that happens, I just drag
the windows over to my primary screen or whatever screen I want to work on
and the next time I ask the windows to pop up they land right where I left
them :)

My sollution was to add a \clearpage before the floats that gave me a
problem.
bachelor
thesis at this moment, and have been working a lot with making
my lyx document look exactly as I want, a lot of settings and some ERT is
unfortunately mandatory.
Document -> settings -> page layout -> fancy and two-sided is the best way
to start I think.

Hi all!
My PDF got some weird page breaks on pages with images in the end (mostly),
and I think it might be that I set my floats to "here definitately". Is
there any way to force no page break?

Exactly! A message box that is indicating change on the file I am currently

Feeling stupid, but
Because I only want it for the file that I am editing at that exact moment.

Exactly, but I need LyX to warn me that a newer version of my file has just been
added to my DropBox fold
document, or else
you just get the copy that is stored in memory... Tried removing
auto-backup, if that was the problem, but no.
Anyone knows how we can get past this problem?
