I'm trying to setting up a layout file for the hmcpset class, but I'm
having a problem. I want to load (from the layout file) the theorems-ams
module . However, this module generates me a
conflict with a command of the hmcpset class. It is the
style/command. Therefore, if I load the theore
f I create the whole document. The
individual chapters can be created without this message appearing. Thus, I
think it is a timeout and has something to do with the size of the document.
Is it possible to increase or even disable the timeout for pdflatex?

When inserting footnotes, the reference in the text (PDF file) that relates to
the footnote gets you jump to page one (when clicked) instead of to the bottom
of the page where the footnote is located.

My sollution was to add a \clearpage before the floats that gave me a
problem.

Hi,
I have a LyX document that compiled just fine three days ago (pdflatex), but
now I keep getting an error message with the description:
basic_filebuf::_M_convert_to_external conversion error
and no PDF output is prod
locate the problem. I deleted bits of my document,
but no matter how much I remove, I keep getting the same error message. Any
ideas what else I could try?
I'm on LyX 1.6.4.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.8.
