question about breaking words in pdf files

Problems with Lyx output

Hello, I´ve installed Lyx on my Mac (Macbook, running with Leopard) for the first time. I´ve followed the instructions and prior to Lyx I have installed MacTeX and then Lyx 1.5.4 but, whenever I open the Lyx application I get the error message shown here: "The layout file requested by this doc
