I would like to have a shortcut for \ldots.
My preferred would be three dots, that is
\bind "period period period" "math-insert \\ldots"
but it doesn't work: what am I missing?
You now that \ldots (in text mode, though) is bound to Alt-period by default?
Yes, I know, but I hardly use it in

Thanks very much for that help Stefano. I've split the file into two parts,

Any error there?

Dear all:
Please could you advice me?
I've got a 304-page picture-rich book. But while generating PDF, the file
cuts short at Page 236. After that, the pages don't show up.
Any idea why this could be happening?
Is it due to a lack of space on my hard disk? Ive' tried clearing some

Dear Erik,
Please address your questions to lyx-users (cc'ed).
Could you provide a _minimal_ LyX file that exhibits the issue that
you're having? (See http://wiki.lyx.org/FAQ/MinimalExample .)

For me, Forward/Reverse search only works with pdflatex.
For Xelatex I probably should enter with some custom configuration. If anyone
knows how to do it, please advise.
Even with pdflatex, reverse search works ok, but for Forward search the

Hi all,
I am not an advanced user. Could somebody help me? I exported bibliography
from endnote, some of the authors have germany characters and there are
some symbols as well in the title. When I use it in LyX, those characters
do not appear appropriately. How to fix it?
Thanks
