I have Windows 7 and LyX 2.0.5.1 on this machine. When I go to
Tools>Preferences>Editing>Shortcuts, it says "cua" at the top, and I can
see a lot of edits which have not gone away when updating LyX.
I would now like to move those to another Windows 7 machine, but I don't

I think I'm going to be perfectly happy with threeparttable. I just wanted a
footnote capacity. From a quick glance it looks easier to use and, like
ctable, seems to use the booktabs commands

was a dependency of ctable--thinking like an R user not a LaTeX user obviously.

I have never experienced that problem :). I guess it should be easy to fix,
however, we probably need a minimal lyx file showing the problem.
Try taking halves out and see how far you can get the text down to. (try
removing external material as well, and remember to make a back up copy ;) )
