How did it fail?
I'm currently working with the pandoc OS X packager on a problem with the
installer.

This was under Lubuntu 12.04, using the version that was in the
repositories.

Ich versuche SumatraPDF als viewer einzustellen und habe folgendes gemacht:
- unter "Werkzeuge" -> "Einstellungen"-> "Pfade" ->"Path-Präfix" den Pfad zu
SumatraPDF angegeben (in meinem Fall C:Program Files
(x86)SumatraPDFSumatraPDF.exe)
- dann unter "Dateiformate" "pdflatex" ausgewählt
