Actually, latex is perfectly fine with the class being in the same
directory as the .tex file. We routinely use this feature when
collaborating. Using a class never requires running sudo texhash.
And this is really crucial for me. My coworkers expect that we share a

Click the margin note button.
The default for article (paper) has headers containing section titles (if any)
and page numbers, with the page number in the upper right of the page (except
for page 1). Are you not getting the page numbers in the upper right corner?
If not, are you at least getting the rest of the header?

Hi Marit,
Usually the article-class should have page-numbering on all pages, so probably
something has been changed from the standard, which might make it difficult to
know exactly what is wrong. However, the most probably is that

My name is Marit and I am currently writing my master's thesis in LyX. I
have used the document class "article (paper)" since this was the only class
that I found made the front page look the way I wanted it to look.
*However, I just noticed that the pdf output does not have page numbering,

Hello everybody,
I was working and LyX and I just got a small issue.

My number of footnotes is exceeding 10, so I normally won't be able to use
the symbols but I would like to use them.
Therefore, I'm using the 'perpage' package to
It is showing up in the PDF too and in the printed copy also!
On the screen it looks fine.

But most bibtex style files do not make use of babel.

I think by setting Document->Settings->Language->Indonesian should be
enough. Isn't it? I'm pretty sure Babel supports Indonesian.
