Hi
I hope I have the right list and someone may be able to help me.
I would like to paste TeX code as generated by the Maxima function "tex"
into my Lyx document and have it interpreted immediately. I would like to
avoid ERT boxes. I've hunted through a lot of documentation but can't find
any way
Hi all,
I have to write a cv in English and with a good format. So I would like
to find a good layout for that.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Opening a file from a few months ago (in Lyx 1.5.2 same as used to create it)

doublespace, on these:
\begin{onehalfspace}
\begin{doublespace}
I can't recall the details, do these have to exist as files in the layouts

Do you have the latex-xft-fonts package installed?

paragraph titles.

Hello,
I'm asking this question to all of you, experienced LaTeX gurus, to know what
are the
little big tricks and special configurations you adopt for the best PDF
conversion.
It seems that documents written in a lot of fonts are not displayed very well
by xpdf, so
very frequently I'm forced
Hi,
I am using the latest Miktex 2.6 and LyX 1.5.3.
When I try to compile my document I get an error "Missing \endcsname

I am totally unfamilar with LateX, so I would appreciate any hints what
to do now. I also tried to truncate

To change the horizontal position of a float, I position the cursor

On the linux/kubuntu laptop of a friend of mine, some latex symbols (e.g,
\pm, \alpha, etc) are not rendered in lyx, although they correctly printed
out to pdf.
Any ideas about what is wrong in the Lyx or X configuration?
Thank you

As the document says I put them into
