Now I also understand why LyX suddenly switched to German UI. It had never
started this particular version from the command line before.

I have a problem with my screen fonts using lyx 1.36. Since a couple of month
the mathematical fonts are displayed wrong. e.g. \neq is displayed as 6=, \gamma
as ° and so on... The lyx-file itself is fine and the ps export works perfectly.
It is only a bit annoying for correction and typing.
