I have a real problem here; one I've not encountered before.
I totally rebuilt 1.4.4 from the source tarball. However, no matter what I

Hello!
I have a floating figure and a graph clipped inside, but when
I export to pdf it is automatically clipped to the left of the box,
I want it to appear in the center, in other words to clip it to the
center of the float. How do I do it?
Thanks a lot!!

Well, I recreated the logo as a .pdf file and still get the same error.
I know I did this before, but cannot find what I did back then.

The document is declared to use Koma Report. I want a figure (our logo as
a .png) on the top of the first page, above the title. I defined the
environment as 'titlehead', but lyx will not display the results as either
dvi or pdflatex.
The error is "You can't use 'macro parameter character #'

Maybe the extension for the graphic file is required? Seems to me
\includegraphics wants extensions and \pgfuseimage doesn't (not sure,
though).

Thank you, gentlemen.
I built a Slackware-11.0 package (using lyx.SlackBuild and the Qt front
end), upgraded from -1.4.3, and it works just as expected.
If you'd like a copy of that package somewhere,
I updated my aspell in /usr/local/lib on a Mac OSX 10.4.x w/ dev

Aspell worked with Lyx, but, now not at all. I also have ispell and

Nope "lub" is an alias defined by:
\pgfdeclareimage[height=2cm]{lub}{logo_universitat_blanco}
The real name is "logo_universitat_blanco" which is a JPG image.

I would say using what you have used. FYI, the two installers will be

If you could put together a minimal test case, we might be able to make
some progress here. It seems that LyX may misuse the BIBINPUTS variable,
perhaps searching underneath that directory? You might also try running
LyX with debugging enabled (see lyx -dbg).

Install using the Windows installer:
http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/LyXWinInstaller. This will install

The problem has to do with defining text styles (size and shape) manually
inside the lyx figure-float caption, so it might be a lyx bug?
If this interests anyone, we can try and make a "minimal" lyx file with a
graphic to reproduce this.
Thanks for the answer.
