I get some very badly formatted Word documents for

Can anyone help me sort this out.
You can search for list archives for a solution, but it may be easier
to wait for the release of lyx-1.4.5 which is due tomorrow.

Have you tried inserting the resulting file into a LaTeX document to check?

The LyX wiki is occasionally spammed. At first this was done by drug or
gambling ads being inserted in the page text. I blocked this a while back
by prohibiting certain words from being added to wiki pages. This seemed
to be quite successful.
Recently, spammers started editing page without a

I'm on Windows, but it works exactly the same and just fine (from

I'm assuming that you're using Word. If you don't disable the Smart

To check, if you're on GNU/Linux, you can use 'convert .jpg
.eps', provided you have ImageMagick installed (which you should
do, as I think LyX pulls it in). I would assume there's an equivale

I used this with no result:
\pgfdeclareimage[width=2cm]{logo_universitat_blanco}{C:/Users/jcredberry/Desktop/Doctorado/Tesis/Presentación/logo_universitat_blanco.jpg}
\titlegraphic{\pgfuseimage{logo_universitat_blanco}}
Used the filename with or without extension, but nothing.

Thanks, that worked just fine. Now, I would like to add a logo to the
presentation. I have my JPG image in the same folders as the LyX file.
I added a "titlegraph" line but I don't know how it works. I added an

LaTeX uses `` and '' for opening and closing quotes, so you should be
able to search and replace, in Word, for that (though there is a Smart

Hi,
My friend is writing his Ph.D. thesis in lyx.
Lyx/Latex started showing his thesis without the references at the end.
The log file shows that bibtex complains that the "buffer size exceeded",
but with no reference to any offending line.
This isn't a long list of references, less than 200,
