I tried the previous version, and the current one. But
- lyx.bat just opens a dos-box, immediately closes it again and dies.
- lyx.exe returns the spartanic error message:
"This application has failed to start, because the applicatioon

I published a new version with LyX1.5.0svn from 22-12-2006:

This version should now run on all Win platforms.

As you can see in your LaTeX file, babel is not loaded.

Ok I stripped it down some more, it only relates to Spanish now, not
mixing languages. Below is the lyx file and the latex export. Same err
