If you try to select a type other than inches on the drop down menu
before you have chosen a size, it won't let you change. It will only
let you change after you've typed in a number, and if it's a large
number in inches at least, LyX will slow down.
The thing with the borders worked great, thank

you do it in HTML?

Hi, I didn't think of exporting it to LaTeX, since I thought LyX
format was pretty much identical. That seemed to have made it in a
form which the preprocessor can recognize. Thanks.
I guess the more pressing problem now is dealing with the table. I
messed around with it some more, and I did get
Hello,
Unless you run latex. That produces a .dvi file. At least, it does on
linux.
Sure it does :). I mean, you can't press M-d from LyX to see it on the fly.

Hello,
which the preprocessor doesn't pick up on. Oops. Any way to get around
this in ERT?

Hey there, I am trying to make a Sanskrit noun and verb paradigm in
LyX. First I'll deal with my table problems and then stick in the
problem I'm having with the way ert is represented in the LyX file.
I'm using the latest version of LyX on windows XP.
I want to make a table that has no borders.
Hello
I just installed WinXP Lyx-1.4.3-5 but I can't get aspell to work. I think
I followed instructions in previous messages:
I answered this the first time. You can find the answer (in two parts)

When I try to install LyX on Mac OS X by using the LyX installer, I get
the following error message:
sh: line 1: python: command not found (127)
From the terminal I type:
which python
/usr/local/bin/python
which latex
/usr/TeX/bin/powerpc-darwin/latex
which pdflatex
/usr/TeX/bin/powerpc
Have you tried any of the installers in ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.4.3?

No need to shout.
But you need to tell us which OS you are using.
If it's windows, look here:

Bo, I think that you should roll out a -5 version to correct this problem
and also to comply with:

OK. Planned for the thanksgiving Friday. :-)
