I asked about this in May but didn't get any reply.
I am looking for a step-by-step guide for using docbook-xml with LyX.
My configure.py has:
\Format docbook-xml xml "Docbook (XML)" "" "" "%%"
and
\converter docbookdocbook-xml "cp $$i $$o" "xml"
I am running lyx 1.4.3 on NetBSD.
I've created a page for the ACM Sigplan style and would like to upload a
layout. I'd appreciate any comments / edits to that page and would like
the upload password so I can attach the .layout file.

Paul,
I ended up un-installing all of MikTex, ImageMagic and Lyx. And then
re-installed using the Windows installer (143/272) from scratch. I did a
single MikTex update which installed two updates. And now everything seems
to be working as normal again.
I am going to go back to the old "if it

I'm writing a set of rules unsing Koma article. I'd like section numbers appear

instead of simply 12.
How should I do ?
Change of layout or what ?
Thanks for the help

Hello,
Lyx-1.3.4 segfaults during spellchecking if I hit "Enter" instead of the
"Replace"

Is this known ? I found nothing in bugzilla.

Then you can try:
* Use an older version of LyX (1.3.7 ?)

hope any of this helps.

PS.
So to avoid the problems, turn off Instant preview.
Sorry to say, but the instant preview facility is the reason I came to LyX

I am quite fluent in LaTeX and without the possibility of instant
previewing I

IIRC it is not that easy. The csrss.exe problem has been reported before,
and it seems to appear only for some users.
