When attempting to use the spell checker I now get an error message

Hi
I try to use Lyx to write a report with a lot of mathematical
expressions. As far as I have got, I had some problems with getting the
mathematical expressions correct for producing DVI out, but after some
trial and error (oh yes, I have read the tutorial and user guide) I got
that correct.
