i found an article on the internet stating how apa.layout was present
from the install of 1.4.1 of lyx-qt but that the apa.cls was missing.
i'm experiencing the same problem, anyone know how to fix this? i know
i wrote this earliar, but i thought this would be easier to understand
than my fir

I'm trying in Lyx using memoir to get a graphic to fill up an entire
page. It would be nice if it can be a float, so it is easy to cross
reference the graphic. I need one graphic which is oriented as is, but
another which is rotated.

I am creating a syllabus using Lyx 1.4.1. I like to have full
bibliography entries shown in different sections by subjects, rather
than putting them all in the "Reference" section. I want a format like this:
Textbooks:
author, year, title, ...
author, year, title, ...
Week 1: assigned articles
I am using CJK-Lyx under Fedora 4, but occasionally I switch between
Linux and Windows for different works. Will we have a windows version of
CJK-Lyx (Lyx that can deal with Chinese characters) some day in the future?

With all your suggestions I found what works efficiently is
1) use raw data to make graph in gnumeric
2) export graph as svg
3) open inkscape and edit svg
4) save graphic as eps
5) insert graphic into Lyx

i installed using YUM by asking for tetex, and then lyx-qt. the system
installed both. (i am a new user by the way) So i figured out that by
creating a new document and then going to Document Settings it would
