Thank Paul Johnson for the instruction about using Rweave for Linux
users (see http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/LyxWithRThroughSweave). I am trying
to copy following his instruction to make this work in Windows XP (with
Lyx 1.3.7 installed), but I have some errors when converting convert his

character that does not allow

If two occurences of the same environment are consecutive (say two definitions),
LyX "glue" them in only one. I can manage this by inserting an empty ERT in a
standard paragraph between the
