You need a converter xfig -> png. This can actually be a converter chain:
xfig -> eps -> png or something si

Hi all,
What are the differences between the book, book (AMS), book (koma-script) and
book (mwbk) document classes. I'm starting work on a new book today, and
would like to use the best and most convenient document class.
Thanks

I have a little "back end" trouble with output of xfig drawings.
I wrote a chapter and in the process discovered that LyX can directly
import xfig drawings. I previously was using EPS export versions of the

so I can edit them

Because wasysym doesn't have a \oiiint symbol. If you really need one,

Well at least for LaTeX -> XML there seems to be a solution with TeX4ht.
Has anyone significant experience with this and especially how well it
performs with documents written for the Komascript-Classes?

I haven't a clue about how to add a second table of contents, but I'll
bet the list might have some ideas. I'm forwarding your question to
them. I hadn't thought about a second TofC; I'd be interested in that
too...

Dear LyXers,
IMHO, LyX clearly lacks a decent support for a scripting language. As
this topic is not new but discussion about which language to choose is
endless, I tried to set up a script interface via the lyxserver.
What I have so far, is "lyx.py":

Hello LyX Users,
Im trying to get LyXWin running on Windows 2000. I have installed
lyx-1.3.5-win32-nc.exe according to the instructions on the LyX WikiWiki
LyX.WindowsSetup webpage.
After a bit of fiddling around all appeared to be working OK. I seem to be
able to create, view etc new document

Sorry, I do not understand your first sentence. Does adding
\usepackage{wasysym} fix your problem?
JMarc
It seems that this solution only works until \oiint. At the moment i
dont need more then that.
Thanks

Hi,
I am useing Lyx 1.35 at Linux at Gentoo dist.
I am facing a problem of an able to use \oiint options. I have no
problem to use \int, \iint or \oint, but i cant use \oint with more
them one i. On lyx window i can see them perfectly but the problem
ocer when i try to export them to dvi or PDF.
hi,
I am using lyx 1.3.4 on Mandrake9.2. I have propser package installed in
/usr/share/texmf/tex/local
My problem is now how to use lyx to make slides using prosper?
I would be grateful if some one can give me an idea to overcome this
problem.
