Jack,
You're welcome.
There is a book on CTAN called "The Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List". It
has, probably, every symbol known to mankind and how to declare it in LaTeX
(or, ERT in LyX). A fascinating resource that is

Jack,
I've not put it on the title, but in a footnote. The footnote contains:
"Copyright \copyright{} 2005 ...". Try it on your title: ERT of \copyright{}

How does one insert a copyright symbol at the end of a title in an

Hi, I'd like to know if there are any issues with transferring LyX
documents made on Linux to Windows, editing there with LyX,
and then transferring them back to linux. I don't use Windows
so I haven't been to try this myself.
I have seen the discussions here on the availability of LyX

Not easy one. It is probably somehow possible (look for "Docbook LaTeX
conversion" on google), but it is fa

You have to download and install RCS programs for Windows. They are

Under Windows, lines in the scripts files are delimited by CR/LF

I did a re-install off the latest version and it worked. I just

Thanks to everyone for the help and time spent on my install problem.

Yes, it does.
It was, after all,
written especially so that the Windows world might have a hope in hell in
getting it to work.
Hope springs eternal in the Windows world. It's just seldom fulfilled.
I'd expect your lyxrc.d

easy way to scan through a document, as strange as it may seem.
Now that the find function is in a better shape, adding searchi
Hello,
if this happens to be an FAQ item, thanks for pointing me to the relevant
FAQ.
Is there an easy way to convert the content of a LyX document to XML (and

Dear everybody,
How to I get accents like
ERT:\={a} or \.{n}
while using another font ?
e.g.
\newfont{\platzhalter}{pnb10}
{\platzhalter
\={a}
}
brngs not the results that was expected.
If instead
{\platzhalter
$\textrm{$\bar{a}$}$
}
is used, the accents is there, but not the font I intend
